Large Group Mediation
PFA Consulting provides professional mediation services to a wide variety of clients. It is our firm belief that mediation resolves disputes in less time, for less money and with more control over the outcome.

Principal Debra A. Scullary is a certified mediator who received her training at the nationally known Justice Center of Atlanta. In partnership with Mike Hall, they have the capability to mediate large groups to bring innovative and dynamic solutions to bear.

By definition more complex, large groups bring more conflicts to the mediation table but also the potential for resolving broader-based conflict. The unique double-team approach of PFA Consulting yields a diversity of ideas and solutions that concludes in successful agreements, often at no cost to the employer.

Complex Facilitation
PFA Consulting has a demonstrated record of excellence in facilitating complex and seemingly intractable group dynamics to resolve difficult issues.

Past projects have included the facilitation of officials in several municipalities to create a plan for a shared wastewater district; a project that the parties had spent seven years discussing without reaching agreement. Over the course of several months, using skilled facilitation, PFA Consulting worked out an Intermunicipal Wastewater Treatment Agreement that achieved environmental compliance through shared treatment capabilities.

Principal Mike Hall's ability to work with large amounts of information and facts to pull together cohesive and comprehensive themes sets PFA Consulting apart from the rest.

Employee Coaching
PFA Consulting has a record of success in coaching high value employees to gain greater insight and resolution of workplace behaviors that are preventing the employee from achieving their potential.

Using a three phase model of awareness, understanding and action planning, the employee is helped to work through current, desired and future state workplace issues to a better understanding of his or her behaviors, their impact and an action plan with employee buy in.

Sensitivity Training
PFA Consulting works with employees of clients who are in need of sensitivity training to address workplace issues around the subject of sexual harassment, gender discrimination or other protected classes.

Employers may incorporate the requirement for sensitivity training in Last Chance Agreements, as part of a remediation plan or as a condition of continued employment.

Working one on one with the employee, the principals of PFA Consulting assist the employee in demonstrating an understanding of the seriousness of their behavior; gaining appropriate insight into how their actions are reflected in the workplace and in identifying specific, measurable steps that they will take to support their personal action plan.

Leadership Services
PFA Consulting provides on-site temporary leadership services to clients requiring strong, strategic leadership. Drawing on his extensive management experience, Principal Mike Hall works with organizations to bridge the "CEO gap" with visionary leadership.

Recent clients have included the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center (previously, The National Warplane Museum) where Mike has served as the Executive Director.

Comprehensive Ethics Programs
The Principals of PFA Consulting instilled a culture of ethical behavior in a large state agency during their tenure in state government. They work with organizations to facilitate and develop comprehensive ethics programs from concept to training and implementation.

Risk Management
PFA Consulting has developed the proprietary risk management program, All Hazard Risk Management-Beyond Safety to the Bottom Line © to develop and encourage a lasting culture of risk management in organizations of any size. Companies have used this program to reduce insurance costs, as well as satisfy regulatory requirements.

Using a facilitated, inclusive approach, PFA Consulting works with clients to reinforce a culture of safety in the workplace, drawing on the power of a broad section of employees to develop a risk management program relevant to the unique circumstances of each organization.
